Camp Timeline
All campers will be hard at work during the five week camp and we would love to share their milestones with you! Each Thursday, we will send home a newsletter from the Production Team that will give you a sneak peek to see what the cast has accomplished. Here is a brief overview of what to expect each week:
Week 1: Auditions will occur on the first two days of camp. The rest of the week will consist of learning the music, choreography, and blocking.
Week 2: The actors will continue to learn the music, choreography, and blocking. They will also begin to expand on their characters through a series of acting and characterization workshops.
Week 3: The actors will continue to learn the music, choreography, and blocking. We will also begin to put the production together and run through the entire show!
Week 4: All of the material will be taught by this week and the cast will focus on perfecting the music, choreography, and their characters. We will begin to add minimal technical elements (props, sets, lighting, sound, etc.)
Week 5: During our final week, we will put the whole show together with all technical elements! This week is a lot of work, but most of the growth occurs during this time. The actors will also experience dress rehearsals and will continue to run the show as if it were for a real audience. By the end the week, it’s SHOW TIME and all family, friends, and community members are invited!

Auditions
Auditions will occur on the first day of camp; we strive to make this process calm, casual, and stress-free.
Every camper will have a role in the show. Audition monologues and the audition song are available for actors to view and rehearse on the auditions page. These materials can be practiced as little or as much as your child would like and are meant to help them feel prepared and confident on the first day of camp; these do not need to be memorized. When it's time to audition, each actor will be called into the audition room and they will perform one monologue from the monologue list and they will sing a short selection of a song. We will spend a great amount of time preparing the students for auditions on the first day to ensure that all students are successful!
Visit the Auditions Page to access the monologues and song, as well as more information about the process.
